About That’s Trashy

We’re Will and Casi — a husband-and-wife team building a family business together here in North DFW.

We started That’s Trashy in 2026 with our family, our faith, and a pretty simple goal: build something meaningful, work hard, take care of people, and give our kids something they can watch grow with us.

Our Story

We wanted to build something together.

That’s Trashy started in February 2026, but for us, it was about a lot more than starting another business. We wanted to build something together as a husband-and-wife team — something that was ours, something we could grow, and something our family could be proud of.

A big part of that was our kids. We wanted them to grow up seeing what it really looks like to build something from the ground up. Not just seeing the finished product, but seeing the work behind it too. Showing up when you’re tired. Figuring things out when you don’t have all the answers. Taking a chance on yourself. Learning from mistakes. Treating people right. Creating something useful and then working hard enough to make it grow.

We want them to understand that if you work hard, solve real problems for people, and provide real value, you can build something meaningful from that. That entrepreneurial spirit is something we wanted them to see with their own eyes instead of just hearing us talk about someday.

“We want our kids to see what it looks like to work hard, create real value for people, and build something from the ground up.”

Our faith is part of that story too. That’s Trashy is a Christian-owned business, and our faith plays a big part in the kind of people we want to be and the kind of business we want to build.

We don’t expect everybody we work with to believe exactly what we believe. For us, it’s more about how those values show up in the way we live and work — being honest with people, doing what we say we’re going to do, working hard, treating people with respect, and trying to do the right thing even when nobody is watching.

We want our kids to see that part too. Building a business matters to us, but the kind of people we become while building it matters even more.

We also came into this from two pretty different backgrounds. My background is in sales, while Casi’s is in nursing and house cleaning. At first glance, those probably don’t sound like they have much to do with junk removal.

But when you really think about it, both of us have spent a lot of our lives working with people. Sales taught me how important it is to listen, understand what somebody actually needs, communicate clearly, and earn their trust.

Casi’s background taught her something just as important — taking care of people, paying attention to the details, and understanding that the work you’re doing can make somebody’s day a whole lot easier.

Those different backgrounds ended up fitting together better than we probably expected.

Because when somebody calls That’s Trashy, there’s usually a problem behind that call. Maybe they have a property that needs to be cleared out. Maybe something heavy has been sitting around forever. Maybe they’re dealing with a stressful situation, or maybe life is already busy enough and they just need one more thing taken off their plate.

Whatever brought them to us, we want them to feel better when we leave than they did when they called.

That’s really how we think about a successful job. Yes, we want the work done right. But we also want the customer to feel like the problem they called us about is actually solved.

We want people to feel comfortable with us. We want them to enjoy the experience of dealing with us. And when the job is over, we want them to feel good about the people they chose to hire.

We want to be the kind of people customers are happy to call again and comfortable recommending to a friend, family member, neighbor, or somebody they work with.

We’re still early in this story. We know That’s Trashy has a lot of growing left to do, and honestly, that’s part of what makes this exciting for us.

We want to build a successful business, but we also want to be careful about what success looks like. We don’t want to grow so much that we lose the personal side of what made us want to start this in the first place.

We still want people to know who they’re dealing with. We still want to care about the experience somebody has with us. We still want to take pride in the work carrying our name.

And years from now, we want our kids to be able to look back at this business and see everything that went into building it — the work, the lessons, the mistakes, the wins, the faith, and the people we were able to help along the way.

At the end of the day, we’re trying to build something together, take good care of people along the way, stay true to what matters to our family, and create something we can all be proud of. We’re only getting started.

A little personality helps

The name makes people smile. We’re okay with that.

We knew pretty early on that we didn’t want a name that sounded like every other hauling company out there.

That’s Trashy has a little personality to it — and so do we. The pink trailer definitely doesn’t hurt either.

But as much fun as we have with the name and the brand, what we’re building behind it means a lot to us. Every job, every customer, every long day, and every lesson is another small piece of something our family is building together.

If you see that pink trailer around North DFW, there’s a pretty good chance one of us isn’t far away.
